What Dealt is

Dealt is a dare card game for iPhone and Android that you play in real life. These terms cover the app and this website. By using Dealt, you accept them.

Age

If you are under 14, you need your parents’ or guardians’ permission to use Dealt.

Play smart

Cards are game proposals, not obligations. You can always refuse, and nobody has to do anything illegal, dangerous or that they don’t want to. Respect other people’s limits.

What you write

You are responsible for table names, your profile name and any cards you write. Illegal, sexually explicit, harassing or discriminatory content is not allowed.

You let us store that content and show it to the players at your table, only so the game works.

Moderation

We may review reported cards, delete them and close accounts that break these terms.

The service

We do our best to keep Dealt running, but there may be outages or changes. Tables are deleted 90 days after they end.

Dealt Plus

Dealt is free to download, and so is joining the tables you’re invited to and playing at them. To create tables you need Dealt Plus, a subscription (or a one-off purchase) inside the app. There are no ads.

• Plans: yearly (€19.99, with a 7-day free trial), monthly (€3.99) and lifetime (€39.99, a single payment). These are the prices in Spain, taxes included; elsewhere the store sets them. You’ll see the price before you buy.
• Payment: Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) charges you when you confirm the purchase. We never see or keep your card.
• Automatic renewal: the yearly and monthly plans renew by themselves at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel. The lifetime plan doesn’t renew.
• Free trial: the yearly plan starts with 7 days free. If you have notifications on, we send you one two days before we charge you. Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.
• Cancelling: any time, in the subscription settings on your iPhone (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or in Google Play. You keep Plus until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Deleting your Dealt account doesn’t cancel the subscription.
• Refunds: Apple and Google handle them, under their terms, in the store where you bought. We can’t refund the payment ourselves.
• Your table: whoever creates a table plays it on their Plus, and every player at that table plays free on it. If the host’s Plus expires mid-game, the table carries on to the end; after that, you need Plus to create another.
• Price changes: if we change the prices, we’ll tell you before they apply, and you can cancel at no cost.

Leaving

You can delete your account whenever you like from the app. Deleting it doesn’t cancel an active subscription: cancel it in the store first.

Liability

Dealt is provided as is. What you do outside the app to complete a card is your decision: use common sense. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. [Pending: legal review.]
